Are you a Veteran?
La Vernia High School will be hosting a Veterans Day event, "Real People, Real Conversations," on November 9th, from 8:15 - 4:30. Parents--A/C in part of the 400 building will be turned off for necessary maintenance today. We have a relocation plan in effect so learning can continue in cooled rooms.

Parents--Some students experienced a brief A/C outage in the 400 building today. The interruption lasted for less than a class period, but we did relocate some classes during that time. A few classes remained relocated as a precaution, but the air was restored quickly. We look forward to seeing you this evening!

Update from Maintenance--We are in process on a fix for the water issue. We expect water service to be restored in the 400/500 building before the start of school tomorrow.

Parents,
There has been a leak in a water main leading to campus. Water in the 400 and 500 buildings is temporarily shut off, but we are anticipating a fix before the day ends. In the meantime, students are being redirected to other buildings for restroom needs, and instruction has not been interrupted.
