Make sure you’ve read the LVHS 1-to-1 Student Chromebook Policy and completed the Digital Policy Acceptance Form with your student. Chromebooks can only be checked out once the form is submitted!

We’re excited to invite the Class of 2026 to kick off their senior year with a fun celebration on Sunday, August 3, starting at 9 AM in the Bear Stadium parking lot!
Let’s start the year off with spirit and style:
Bring your own paint to decorate your car windows and let everyone know you’re officially a senior!
The La Vernia Alumni Association will provide chalk so you can “chalk the walk” leading up to the high school entrance.
AJ’s Snack Shack will be there handing out a commemorative cup and a FREE snow cone to each senior.
➤ Find an Alumni Association member near the snow cone truck to get your ticket for your treat!
We can’t wait to see all our seniors out there showing their pride and kicking off the year in a memorable way!

Our amazing art teachers — Mrs. Scull-Hons, Mrs. Olivarez, and Mrs. McCloskey collaborated to showcase 100 stunning student-created artworks woven especially for the event. What an incredible way to share our students’ creativity with educators from across the state! 🎨✨
We’re also proud of our dedicated staff members — Mrs. Humphrey, Ms. Lansford (HS Chemistry), and Mrs. Shedrock (JH Foundations/Dyslexia) — who attended the symposium to bring back even more knowledge and inspiration for our classrooms.
