☀️🍎 Summer Meals Available at La Vernia Junior High School! 🍎☀️
La Vernia ISD Child Nutrition will be serving grab-and-go summer meal bundles 🥪🍎 from June 8–25, 2026, Monday through Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the La Vernia Junior High School Cafeteria. 🏫
📦 Each meal bundle includes lunch and a snack, and on Thursdays, students may also pick up Friday's meal bundle.
✅ Children may be eligible to receive summer meals at no cost through the USDA Summer Food Service Program.
Students who qualify for Free or Reduced-Price Meals are eligible to receive free summer meals. Children in households receiving SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR benefits are automatically eligible.
📝 To determine eligibility for free summer meals, families who have not already done so are encouraged to complete a Household Application for Free and Reduced-Price Meals.

👧👦 Children 18 years of age and younger may participate, even if they are not enrolled in summer school or other summer programs.
