Two teams from LVHS competed in the Texas Association of Community Schools (TACS) Scholarship Contest in Belton, TX today at the Bell County Expo Center. Three students per team competed in 4 rounds (5 questions per round). There were 24 total teams in the division we competed in. Madison Saulter, Josh Krueger, and Diego Tejeda were team LV-I, and Sarah Wildenstein, Colton Ayers, and David Betancourt were team LV-Q. Team LV-Q took 2nd place overall (and $3000.00 for the team) in Division II (4A, 5A, and 6A schools) with a score of 36 and beating 2 other teams in 2 tiebreaker rounds. Congratulations!!!
